Common old carrots normally seen in a pile now stand up, distinctly separate, doing what is not normal and linking to the unnatural stance of isolating families and individuals. The work calls to mind the corona virus shape, circular with protrusions, the individuals forming the virus shape, but also humorous, absurd and with energy, the carrots balanced, standing in defiance of gravity, separate but with a shared unity. Carrots to help you see through the dark patch. The position of the carrots also imitates the way they grow underground but now exposed, they stand in thin air, revealing themselves.
