The Touching Series explores ideas linked to touch by arranging paper hands and capturing the results through a series of photographic works. The hands appear in different forms, at times invasive, touching on issues of exploitation, at other times loving, lively, alive, humorous or as expressions of desire, or again, as if pulling a person in every direction. This ongoing series reflects different expressions of the hands and our cultural inheritance.
2 versions of animation were made - one is more uncomfortable as the hands can't be brushed off - Touching Me Too, the other - Touching Me 2 is a more broad look at different relationships.
