This print is from the Prairie Ronde Residency Revisited 2D work. The ‘On the Road’ Series takes images from the local road surfaces and pathways to guide to my experiments. I was drawn to the simplicity and bareness of the images which set up my challenge. These also capture a moment in time as they include lines made to mark repairs to the road and infrastructure which marks the moment. This is part of a wider series that explores the creative potential of the photographic document as a creative medium.
